Belvedere Hotel is located in Predeal, the highest altitude resort in Romania at 1110 m on Cioplea. Built in 1974 the hotel was first named CIOPLEA HOTEL and has created a tradition in Valea Prahovei mountain tourism. After years, preserving the same known standards the hotel reborn in 2003 with a new look, famous as before and a new name: BELVEDERE.

Winter snow storms are rare in this area so the snow can reach few meters in high and can last more than 100 days a year which makes this resort perfect for skiing and other winter sports.

The chain of resorts on Prahova Valley starts with Predeal, being the highest altitude town in Romania (1000 - 1159 m).

The natural environment is a depression well covered by Bucegi, Baiu, Piatra Mare and Postavarul mountains that proves to be very beneficial for the town. The average temperature is 14 C in the summer and -5 C in the winter.
