Located on the Transfăgărășan, the hotel offers accommodation near Lake Bâlea, in a natural and special setting. It is positioned at an altitude of 875 m on the shore of Lake Vidraru, only 7 km from Vidraru Dam, 30 minutes from Bâlea Lac, 12 km from Poienari Citadel and less than 38 km from Curtea de Argeș on the famous Transfăgărășan road - DN7C.

The Valea cu Pești tourist complex has a total accommodation capacity of 60 rooms with spaces dedicated to leisure services, restaurant, seminars-conferences.
On the basement floor is the Spa area (indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi) and the leisure area (bowling alley, billiards and table tennis) and a multifunctional hall.
On the ground floor of the complex there is the reception, the day bar, the conference hall (capacity 80 seats, equipped with projection screen, video projector, flip-chart, audio system, simultaneous translation system, laptop, TV, DVD player) and the restaurant (capacity 160 seats).
The rooms offered to tourists are located on floors 1-4.
All rooms have color TV connected to a satellite television system, telephone with direct access to international line and air conditioning. Each room has its own bathroom with: washbasin, WC, bathtub/shower cabin, hairdryer and telephone.
Access to the rooms is by elevator or stairs and access to the rooms is direct from the level hall and almost all rooms have a balcony.
The hotel's offer includes the basic services offered by a tourist complex, accommodation and meals, but also offers the possibility of organizing seminars and conferences, trainings and various team-building events, company celebrations, weddings, festive meals, etc.
In addition to the basic services, the complex offers leisure and free time services both inside the complex (indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, bowling, billiards, ping-pong), parlor games (chess, rummy, backgammon, playing cards), as well as outside it by practicing activities such as: mountain hiking, leisure on Lake Vidraru or activities on the multifunctional sports field owned by the tourist complex (tennis, mini-football, basketball, handball, volleyball).
Also, special programs will be organized on various occasions (Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter, etc.)
The complex also has its own parking with 40 spaces inside the complex and another 20 spaces nearby at a distance of about 150 m, in the vicinity of the national road.
Pets are not accepted.
NOTE 2025: Check-in is between 16-19 (after 19 the arrival time must be communicated to the reception); check-out is until 12.

The hotel provides free parking within the limit of 60 parking spaces (40 spaces in the hotel area and 20 spaces in the parking area in the DN7C area - 150 m from the hotel) in order of arrival at the hotel (no reservations are made for parking spaces) ; NO CIGARETTES ARE SOLD IN THE UNIT!
The internet works optimally in the reception/lobby-bar area; in the rooms the signal is fluctuating depending on the total traffic in the hotel.
When bowling is played in the games room, noise can be heard in the hotel rooms (the leisure area program is between 10:00-22:00)
There is no signal on TELEKOM telephone networks in the area
