In 1914, when Hotel Palace Constanta opened, it had "250 rooms, elevators on all floors, a bathroom for each room, electric light, heating, a reading room, terraces, a First Class restaurant, a terrace on the hotel's roof" according to the newspaper Conservatorul Constantei of July 13 of that same year.
In 2006, after renovation, the hotel reopened with 99 rooms, while preserving its elegant pre-war atmosphere.
