Romania embraced this concept in 2016, with the opening of Ursa Mică Glamping Resort, which offered locals and tourists the first opportunity to experience this type of vacation in the heart of Transylvania. On a 40,000 square meter property, the resort offers services and facilities that make every visit an unforgettable experience.

Situated at the gates of Transylvania, in a secluded area, at 1250m altitude and in the cleanest air, our resort opens up to the panorama of the Carpathians, harmoniously combining premium services with the natural beauty of the place. Ursa Mică Glamping Resort features 12 tents, each with a direct view of the Piatra Craiului mountains.
The tents are placed on a safe wooden platform and fully equipped with a stove and firewood, premium mattresses, thick pillows and duvets, satin and cotton bedding, robes and towels (all sanitized in advance at a professional laundry). It is the most unique accommodation in the Carpathians, created especially for adventure and comfort enthusiasts.
Each tent at Ursa Mică Glamping Resort is equipped with a carbon monoxide sensor and a fire extinguisher, so you are always safe. You will not find sockets in the tents, so we invite you to charge your phone, laptop or any other device in the specially designated area in our restaurant.
