After an extensive renovation and modernization process, Hotel Vega in Mamaia opened in the summer of 2008, joining the list of hotels in Mamaia rated 5 stars.
Hotel Vega is located in the northern part of the Mamaia resort, right on the beach, bordered to the north by Hotel Alcor, to the south by Hotel Bicaz and to the west by Hotel Siret and Lake Siutghiol.
Hotel Vega is located just 5 km from Constanta and 30 km from Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport.
Hotel guests will need to leave a guarantee deposit of 500 lei/room/stay at reception for
extra services, which will be returned at check-out. This deposit is made upon arrival and can be paid in cash (lei, euro, USD) or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

17 family rooms, consisting of two standard rooms (one with double bed and balcony, the other with two separate beds without balcony) with a double communicating door between them;
- Rooms of this type are for 4 persons, and the rate does not change if fewer people are accommodated.
7 superior double rooms (without balcony) with double bed and fixed sofa, one of which has facilities for people with disabilities;
- The Superior Double Room has 1 double bed, a fixed sofa, a larger surface area and no balcony. Up to 3 adults can also be accommodated in this type of room.
63 standard double rooms, of which 36 have a double bed (with balcony) and 27 have two separate beds (without balcony) - side sea view.
- The room with a double bed has a balcony, and the maximum number of persons allowed is 2 adults and one child up to the age of 12, if no extra bed is requested for the child.
- The room with 2 separate beds (twin), which can be joined together if needed, has no balcony but has a larger surface area. The maximum number of persons allowed is 2 adults and one child up to the age of 12. Extra beds may only be added in this type of room. When an extra bed is requested, 50% of the value of one place will be charged. For children between 7 and 12 years old, the value of a breakfast will be charged in addition to the extra bed.
Hotel Vega has a drinking water disinfection system using ultraviolet rays and an air purification system used for the air-conditioning system. Through this odorless and tasteless disinfection, the quality of the disinfected water remains unchanged, but the DNA of all living microorganisms is deactivated through a photochemical reaction.
