Hotel "Vulturul Negru" is located in the very center, near the City Hall of Oradea, the building in which it operates being part of the cultural heritage of the city on the Crișul Repede.
The building in which the hotel operates dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when there were far fewer Hotels in Oradea and when a new style, different from the academic ones, spread, creating the premises for a stylistic diversification based on inventions and originality. The newly created style, secession, had two major periods, the curvilinear and floral one and the geometric one with purified forms. The most important architects representing this trend are: Komor Marcell, Jakab Dezsö, Sztarill Ferenc, Mende Valér, Vágó József and László, Rimanóczy Kálman junior.
The most important achievement in this style is the Black Eagle Palace (1907-1909), with the glass-covered passage connecting three streets. The building is multifunctional, comprising at that time a casino, hotel, offices, restaurant, grouped in three asymmetrical bodies. The emblem of the ensemble, the stained glass with the black eagle, was executed in 1909, in the Oradea workshop Neumann K.
The positioning enjoyed by Hotel „Vulturul Negru” is ultra-central, and the reconditioning of the interior finishes was done while preserving the Art Nouveau style.

The living rooms of the apartments are spacious, each equipped with a 90/200 cm bed.
All 47 rooms have access to the elevator.
On the first level of the building there is a daytime bar, which has an entirely glass ceiling, the bar being located in the center of the building. The capacity of this bar is 60 seats, being open also for persons who are not accommodated in the hotel.
On the IV floor there is the conference hall. It is equipped with computers connected to the internet, having a capacity of 80 seats. Also on level IV is the hotel's restaurant, which has a capacity of 80 seats, and breakfast is also served in the hotel's restaurant.
The hotel has parking covering 30% of the accommodation capacity, parking located in the immediate vicinity of the „Vulturul Negru” Passage.
Another facility that the Vulturul Negru hotel has is a massage salon and a nightclub that is about to open.
