The building was built in 1907, in Baroque style, and has recently been renovated, preserving its old architectural elements while blending classic with modern. Hotel Victoria has a 3-star category, offering 15 very spacious rooms, an intimate ambiance and exceptional decor.
The buildings surrounding the hotel were built in the early 18th century, which is why Timisoara is known as a baroque city. However, the city is much older, but with the exception of a part of Huniade Castle, neither the medieval urban structure nor the buildings from before 1716 can still be seen today, only the Banat Museum headquartered in Huniade Castle.
